But this lesion is not literally related to any hot environment or a boiled liquid to trigger its formation. The word eczema conveys the boiling or the inflammation that happens beneath the skin that causes this skin lesion. The predominant symptoms of eczema includes dry, red, itchy skin. The itchiness happens this way as and when you began to scratch for the itch at its early stages and at later days the itch began to scratch you. The desperation to scratch the skin results in superficial damage of the skin called excoriation. This might lead to secondary bacterial infections and oozing from the eczema results.
