 A CASE HISTORY ON ADULT ACNE:

Miss. Thara, 27 Years Female from Adambakkam, working as a front desk manager for a software firm came to Aura Clinic for skin with complaints of multiple acne lesions, which were very itchy and painful. She had few black spots   on her forehead skin, cheek and chin.

Treatment options: Diagnosing Miss. Thara as a clinical case of Acne Vulgaris-GRADE 2

The following treatment options were given to her.

Medical Management:

  • Acne Face wash – to cleanse her face to remove the excess oil and bacteria.
  • Acne Creams At Nights – to remove excess oil to bring down the acne inflammation.
  • Sunscreen medications- to protect the skin from futher damage of Ultra violet B rays and other skin pollutants
  • Pigmentation Toners – to lighten her black spots.

  Warts are the rough thickened growth of a specific part of the skin that gives a raised appearance. These warts are dermatologically named as verruca vulgaris, which occurs due to the HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) infection.
