  Allergic reactions of skin are clinically presented to a dermatologist with different pictures. They are sometimes large red coloured, itchy skin patch that appears spontaneously on the skin or after any internal or external triggers. These skin patches usually fade off on its own within few minutes to few hours. These clinical findings are the key factors to diagonose this skin disease called Urticaria. This Urticaria is usually triggered by an internal stimulus and less contributed by few external stimuli as well. This Urticaria can be Chronic Urticaria or Acute Urticaria. The Acute Urticaria is the one that shall resolve with medications in less than 6 weeks, where as a Chronic Urticaria shall exist for long time and needs long term management. The reason for this Urticaria to occur on the skin has to be investigated with the available laboratory tests and skin patch tests.   The skin is the largest organ of the body extending from the head to the toe. It functions as a protective barrier protecting the delicate organs of the body from the external polluted world. This barrier function of the skin is disrupted, when certain skin diseases manifest on it. One such skin manifestation is called the  ECZEMA.  The word eczema is of  Greek origin , which means that which is formed from one that is boiled. But this lesion is not literally related to any hot environment or a boiled liquid to trigger its formation. WART – WHAT IS WART? WHAT TO DO WITH WART?

  Warts are the rough thickened growth of a specific part of the skin that gives a raised appearance. These warts are dermatologically named as verruca vulgaris, which occurs due to the HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) infection. These virus are generally very slow growing and usually take few months to years produce the skin lesion. The most common sites where these lesions are seen are the palms, soles, scalp, above eyelids and face. The virus shows no specific age and sex predilection. But when this wart grows on the genitals it should be treated immediately for its rapidity in growth that might increase the numbers and size of warts. WHAT TO DO WITH WARTS The most promising treatment for warts is to remove them by the RF ablative technique. This is a very easily performed technique with less complications.
